Job summary

Premier Court is a Bupa care home in Bishop’s Stortford seeking a receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors and new enquiries. The role involves face-to-face and phone-based support, show-arounds, and clerical assistance to the Home Manager and Administrator.

You will need a friendly, approachable manner, strong organisational skills and a caring attitude to help residents and their families. The home offers a peaceful setting and a community-focused environment.

You've worked as a receptionist before with experience in providing excellent customer service, you'll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. You're approachable and organised and can build strong relationships with our residents, their families and internal teams. Dedicated and efficient with an ability to handle a varied workload, but importantly, your caring attitude underpins everything you do - to make a real difference to people's lives.

Premier Court is set in a very peaceful countryside location within Bishop's Stortford. It provides a full range of residential and nursing care.

A modern, purpose-built home, Premier Court has comfortable ensuite single bedrooms and attractive d cor. The home features well-furnished lounge areas where residents can relax and socialise, there is also an onsite hair salon and the homes very own tea room for all to enjoy. The home benefits from lots of outside space with courtyard gardens for family and friends to use whenever they come to visit. The home is also wheelchair accessible throughout. Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients. Soon after a resident arrives at the home, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them. There's a real sense of community at Premier Court. The activities calendar includes arts and crafts, music, flower arranging and gardening. Visiting entertainers often perform, and residents can enjoy outings to garden centres, shopping trips or places of interest.
