Job summary

The Roof Gardens is a social club in the sky, located in Kensington. We are seeking a confident Receptionist to join the front of house team, ensuring members have a seamless, welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

You will greet members, register them warmly, and coordinate reservations, events and inquiries while staying informed about daily activities and facilities. Expect varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a member-facing role within the luxury hospitality market.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage member enquiries and reservations via phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and register members with warmth and professionalism, serving as a memorable first and last point of contact.
• Build one-to-one relationships with members to enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain accurate member data and preferences to personalise future visits.
• Handle enquiries, reservations, cancellations, and event bookings promptly via phone and email.
• Stay informed on daily and weekly activities and facilities to support member needs.
• Assist events team with coordination and execution of member and large-scale events.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

The Role

We’re seeking a confident and charismatic Receptionist to join the vibrant front of house team at The Roof Gardens. As a warm and professional presence, you’ll become a familiar face to our members, ensuring their experience is seamless, welcoming, and memorable from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a member-facing role within the luxury hospitality market
• Welcome and register members with warmth and professionalism, serving as a memorable first and last point of contact
• Build one-to-one relationships with members to enhance their overall experience
• Maintain accurate member data, including preferences, to personalise future visits
• Manage all member enquiries in a timely manner, including reservations, cancellations, confirmations, private event bookings and general queries via phone and email
• Demonstrate an exemplary understanding of club facilities and events, staying fully informed of daily and weekly activities
• Support the events team in the coordination and execution of member and large-scale events
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
