Job summary

Bupa's Freelands Croft Care Home in Fleet invites applications for a part-time Receptionist role (16 hours per week, 9am–5pm) in GU52 0AD. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and handle inquiries with a friendly, organised approach.

You will support the Home Manager with clerical tasks, provide face-to-face and phone-based information, and contribute to a welcoming environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist experience in a care/home setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Organised and able to manage a varied workload with a friendly approach.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for visitors to the home.
• Handle new enquiries and provide information as needed.
• Offer face-to-face and telephone support to residents and families.
• Conduct show-arounds within the care home.
• Assist Home Manager with clerical duties such as paperwork and filing.

• Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home
• Taking responsibility for managing new enquiries
• Providing advice and support both face to face and over the phone
• Conducting show-arounds within the care home
• Supporting the Home Manager and Administrator with clerical duties such as maintaining paper work and filing
• Dealing with enquiries in a timely manner and ensuring daily and weekly tasks are completed

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You’ve worked as a Receptionist before with experience in providing excellent customer service, you'll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. You’re approachable and organised and have the ability to build strong relationships with our residents, their families and internal teams. Dedicated and efficient with an ability to handle a varied workload, but importantly, your caring attitude underpins everything you do - to make a real difference to people’s lives.
