£24,531 per annum

37.5 hours per week including early morning, early evening, and weekend shifts.

As a Receptionist at our Cambridge Hospital, you’ll have excellent communication, IT, and keyboard skills. You should be able to explain sensitive or complicated information clearly, sympathetically, and understandably. Ideally, you have experience in healthcare administration or reception.

As a Receptionist, your responsibilities include:

  • Helping visitors feel comfortable and welcomed
  • Using empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships
  • Answering calls, handling inquiries, and booking appointments
  • Welcoming patients and directing them to appropriate areas
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth department operation
  • Preparing clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions
