Receptionist

Part Time 1 day / week (Friday)

Brighton

We are searching for an organised calm and compassionate Receptionist for a gorgeous alternative therapies clinic in the heart of holistic Brighton. This person will be part of a team of receptionists and will report directly into the Clinic Manager and Clinic Owner.

This Receptionist position is a temporary role intended to last for the duration of the current employees maternity leave training months. The dates for this Maternity Cover role are from December 2025- expected until : December 2026- this is variable and can be longer or shorter due to the nature of Maternity Leave.

The ideal part time Friday Receptionist will be highly personable and empathetic able to handle multiple tasks at one time and be strongly computer literate.

Responsibilities

Cover Receptionist duties including bookings payments and answering phones on Fridays and ad-hoc basis if necessary meeting and greeting clients warmly.

Maintain a clean tidy and smoothly functioning clinic environment including therapy room set up.

Maintaining a friendly helpful and courteous approach to clients and therapists at all times.

Performing other duties as requested by management.

Experience

Experience in and a love of customer service / previous front of house experience essential.

The capacity to prioritise tasks and thrive in a slightly chaotic super friendly environment.

Great communication and relationship-building skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.

Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Google products and general computer usage.

High level of organisation and time management.

Love of alternative therapies and creative environments.
