Bespoke Hotels is seeking a Receptionist to join our team. You will maximise room revenues while delivering efficient, courteous service to ensure total guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills and at least one year of experience in a similar role. You will manage check in/out, handle guest requests, upsell services, and operate the telephone and computer systems in line with company standards.

• Maximise room revenues in line with the Company’s standards and provide courteous service.
• Assist with check in and check out procedures as per Company Standards.
• Understand guests' requirements during check in/out.
• Handle cash, charge, float and till procedures according to policy.
• Be familiar with hotel facilities and local area to assist guests.
• Attend daily team meetings and keep the team informed.
• Upsell through incentives and promotions to increase sales.
• Handle customer enquiries and bookings promptly and courteously.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Operate the telephone system in line with operating and Company standards.

Receptionist

As a Receptionist you will be responsible for maximising room revenues in line with the Company’s standards, providing efficient and courteous service, to ensure total guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate would posses outstanding communication and organisation skills and have the ability to prioritise tasks. At least one years’ experience in a similar position is essential.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

• To be familiar with the days business, including arrivals, departures, and special requests.
• Deal with guests promptly upon arrival and departure, as per Company Standards for check in and out procedures.
• To have a good understanding of the guests’ requirements when they are checking in or out.
• To ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in accordance with company Policy.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as local area. Therefore, ensuring our guests are assisted effectively.
• Keeping the team up to date by attending the daily meetings.
• Maximise sales through up‑selling, using incentives and promotions
• Ensure all customer enquiries and requests for bookings are dealt with promptly, courteously and efficiently
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints
• Professionally and competently operates the telephone system in line with both operating and Company Standards.
