Job summary

Champneys, the UK’s iconic luxury health spa brand, is seeking a Front of House Receptionist to welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs and deliver exceptional service from the moment guests arrive.

This zero-hour role offers up to £12.71 per hour plus gratuities, with full training provided. You’ll support reception across our resort locations, acting as the friendly face and helping create memorable wellness journeys for guests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, professional welcome and efficient check-in experience.
• Manage guest check-outs, payments, accounts and robe controls.
• Handle guest enquiries, resolve concerns and escalate where appropriate.
• Administer payments and end-of-day procedures in line with company guidelines.
• Prepare arrivals for future dates to ensure a seamless guest journey.
• Operate the switchboard and transfer calls professionally.
• Liaise with Housekeeping and other departments to support guest satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement of reception performance and profitability.
• Complete administrative duties and attend training as required.
• Adhere to Champneys’ policies, procedures and health & safety standards.

As a Front of House Receptionist, you’ll play a pivotal role in the day to day running of reception, delivering outstanding service to every guest. You’ll ensure check ins and check outs run smoothly, enquiries are handled professionally, and guest satisfaction remains at the heart of everything you do.

You’ll be a knowledgeable ambassador for the resort, confident in answering questions about the property, facilities and local area, and proactive in resolving issues to ensure every stay is memorable.

What You’ll Be Doing

• What We’re Looking For
• A natural people person with a warm, confident and professional approach
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage payments accurately
• Calm and solutions focused when handling guest feedback or challenges
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, guest focused environment
• Previous reception or hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential – full training will be provided
