Job summary

The Crown Hotel Harrogate is seeking a friendly, professional Receptionist to welcome guests and ensure a smooth stay. You will handle check-in/out, provide information on services and local attractions, and resolve guest requests with poise.

Ideal candidates will have experience in hotel reception, excellent communication in English, and strong organizational skills. A team-oriented, proactive attitude and a neat appearance are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk or reception role is preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a friendly smile.
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

• Answering calls, allocating rooms, and preparing guests’ bills.

  • Excellent communication skills with a high standard of written and spoken English.
