Reception Teacher Responsibilities:

1. Creating and executing daily lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and tailored to individual learning needs of Reception students.
2. Creating and maintaining a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment for Reception-aged children.
3. Supporting diversity within the classroom.
4. Fostering a respectful and welcoming classroom environment.
5. Engaging with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behaviour.
6. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
7. Communicating regularly with the school leadership about lesson plans, assessments, and student progress.
8. Instilling the school's core philosophies, values, and expectations in students.

Reception Teacher Requirements:

1. QTS, EYTS, or PGCE with a strong academic record.
2. Experience teaching in a primary school.
3. A relevant bachelor’s degree in education.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reception Teacher Salary
