Academics are currently working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school at the heart of the Lambeth community. We are proud of our warm, supportive ethos and our commitment to helping every child achieve their best. We are now looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join our dynamic team from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact during a crucial stage in pupils' primary education. As our Year 6 teacher, you'll help prepare pupils for their transition to secondary school by delivering a broad, balanced, and engaging curriculum-with a particular focus on raising achievement and developing independence and resilience.

Job Title: Year 6 Class Teacher
Location: Primary school Lambeth, London
Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London) - Depending on experience
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025



Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a Year 6 class, planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum

  • Maintain strong classroom routines and behaviour management



The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has experience teaching in KS2, ideally in Year 6

  • Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and SATs requirements

  • Has high expectations for all pupils and a strong commitment to raising standards
