Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Greenwich (SE10). The role is full-time on a temporary contract starting November 2026, ending July 2027.

You will deliver EYFS teaching, including planning, marking, and preparation, and support safeguarding and parental communications under a supportive senior leadership team. A valid UK QTS and at least 1 year EYFS/KS1 experience are required, with safeguarding training updated in the past year.

Qualifications

• QTS is required for this role.
• Minimum 1 year EYFS or KS1 teaching experience in the UK.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach and assess EYFS lessons in a primary setting.
• Mark, prepare learning materials, and support parents evenings.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support staff wellbeing and development.
