Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Liverpool. The role is full-time, long-term, starting ASAP with a September start and lasting until December, supporting early learners with reading, phonics, writing and maths.

You will work alongside the class teacher, provide 1:1 and small-group support, track progress and help develop confidence and positive study habits in the early years.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in education, social care, nursery or similar sector.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students.
• Passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

This role is ideal for someone passionate about raising confidence and learning with children at the start of their school journey. Essential Requirements

• Experience working with children within an education, social care, community, nursery or similar sector
