Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a passionate Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in High Wycombe. The role is full-time with MPS/UPS pay scale and a September 2026 start. You will plan and deliver EYFS-aligned lessons, assess progress and support children's wellbeing, while safeguarding is a priority.

You will work closely with colleagues, parents and carers, promoting inclusive learning and a love of learning. An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote positive behaviour and establish clear classroom routines and expectations.
• Prepare and maintain an engaging learning environment with appropriate resources and displays.

• The ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences for all pupils.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
