Job summary

Academics is seeking a Reception Teacher for a full-time role starting January 2027 in Chatham, Kent. You will plan and deliver teaching per the EYFS framework, create an inspiring, inclusive classroom, and support children's early learning and development.

A strong focus on safeguarding and pupil progress is essential. The role requires QTS and prior Reception experience, with collaboration with parents and colleagues a key part of the position.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and nurturing Reception Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis from January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who has a strong understanding of early years education and is committed to providing a rich, engaging, and supportive learning environment for young children at the very start of their school journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
• Contribute to the wider life of the school
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven knowledge and experience of the EYFS framework
