Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting for a Reception SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Liverpool, L5. You will work one-to-one with a Reception child, supporting ASD needs and helping deliver catch-up sessions. The role is long-term, starting in September, and is temporary.

You will collaborate with the class teacher on planning and adapting resources, promoting an inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a school or education setting.
• Level 2/3 qualification in childcare or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to follow direction from the class teacher and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Reception child one-to-one, responding to their individual needs.
• Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps.
• Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources.
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong.
