Job summary

The Wright Brothers Covent Garden is opening a new restaurant and seeking an experienced Reception Manager to shape the guest experience from day one. You will lead the reservations and guest relations function, setting the tone for every guest visit and helping establish standards for the new Covent Garden site.

You will oversee reservations, VIP experiences and guest relationships while leading and developing the reception team, partnering with management to maximise covers, encourage repeat

Qualifications

• Premium restaurant or hospitality supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of reservation systems (SevenRooms, OpenTable).
• Experience managing VIP guests and relationships.
• Commercial awareness including revenue and covers.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the reception team with high service standards.
• Oversee reservations across booking channels, optimize allocation and revenue.
• Own VIP experiences and guest preferences, build relationships with regulars.
• Monitor booking trends, cancellations, guest spend and performance reports.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and CRM for personalised experiences.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism.
• Oversee group bookings and private events from enquiry to arrival.
• Collaborate with management and operations to maintain clear communication.
• Support the guest journey with consistency and warmth.
