Job summary

Augur Initiative Ltd in London is seeking a Robotics Engineer to own the integration of a new counter-UAS initiative. You will bridge robotics, ML and systems engineering, proving concepts, building prototypes, and guiding trials with product partners.

The ideal candidate has a robotics or related engineering background, strong low-level programming in C/C++ or Rust, Python, and hands-on experience with computer vision and sensor fusion. Collaboration and clear documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in robotics, electrical engineering, CS, maths, or similar.
• Strong low-level programming in C/C++ or Rust and Python.
• Experience with computer vision for real-time or resource-constrained use.
• Hands-on state estimation and sensor fusion including Kalman filters.
• Understanding of camera models and sensor behavior.
• Self-directed learner with good documentation.
• Strong communication with partners and suppliers.
