Job summary

Dex in London is hiring an early senior ML engineer to join a newly forming London engineering team. You will own the design, build, and deployment of production ML systems that predict user value in real time and optimize reward systems for tens of millions of users. This hands-on role covers end-to-end lifecycle from modelling to production, with collaboration across product and engineering to deliver data-driven solutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying ML systems in production.
• Strong understanding of statistics and experimental design.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale production-grade ML systems
• Develop real-time models to predict user value (pLTV)
• Optimize personalised reward systems based on behaviour
• Identify and diagnose underperforming campaigns using causal inference
• Own end-to-end delivery: modelling, deployment, monitoring, and optimisation
• Apply statistical methods to ensure robustness
• Align ML solutions with business priorities and commercial impact
• Partner with product and engineering to translate problems into data-driven systems
• Contribute to technical direction and raise engineering standards
