Job summary

Almedia in London (King's Cross) seeks a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to own real-time ranking, personalisation and reward structures. You will build and ship production-grade systems with a small, high-ownership team, influencing infrastructure as it scales.

Expect ownership over end-to-end ML pipelines and a strong focus on measurement. The role requires shipping systems end to end, cross-functional collaboration, and a builder's mindset.

Qualifications

• Shipped production systems end to end with measurable impact.
• Full-stack data pipeline to live serving and monitoring.
• Strong causal thinking: uplift modelling and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Own ranking and personalisation systems in real time.
• Own reward and payout infrastructure balancing cost and value.
• Develop behavioural prediction through time-series data.
• Lead measurement and validation with A/B testing and causal inference.
• Oversee ML infrastructure: pipelines, training, serving and monitoring.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on shipping discipline.
