Job Description:

Job Description

Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. In Real Estate Tax, we pride ourselves on helping transform our clients’ real estate into greater assets. We provide a diverse range of organisations with business and financial advice to enable this. Our insights empower clients to make significant decisions about the future and unlock sustainable growth. We focus on quality and integrity, helping businesses, communities, and our people flourish.

We advise real estate funds, global institutional investors, REITs, private investors, and the public sector on investments into UK and pan-European real estate, including tax structuring, compliance, and due diligence. Our sectors include commercial, office, student housing, industrial logistics, retail, and hotels.

We support flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours and job shares, to help balance work and life.

A look into the role

As an Associate Director in our Real Estate Tax (RET) team, you will:

  • Be part of a high-performing team with extensive sector experience, working with high-profile clients on challenging projects.
  • Develop junior team members, understanding their career goals.
  • Work on major projects involving multi-jurisdictional transactions across real estate and infrastructure, with deal sizes up to and over £1bn. There are significant opportunities for rapid promotion.
  • Lead your own work, taking initiative in client dealings, project delivery, and team engagement, supported by experienced colleagues.
Knowing you’re right for us

The minimum criteria for joining as an Associate Director include:

  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualification or equivalent
  • UK corporate tax experience, preferably within real estate
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members

Additional desirable skills include experience in UK real estate market, business development, tax structuring, international tax advice, and setting up property funds like UK REITs. We are happy to support your professional growth in these areas.

Knowing we’re right for you

We value diversity and inclusion, fostering an open culture where everyone can bring their whole self to work. We encourage contributions, new ideas, and exceeding expectations. Our work extends beyond day-to-day tasks, including secondments, charity work, and supporting entrepreneurs globally, all grounded in our values of purpose, curiosity, candor, and kindness.

We offer flexible working options to help maintain work-life balance and believe in making a positive societal impact through our work and initiatives. We seek individuals eager to contribute, innovate, and uphold our standards of integrity and excellence.
