Role Description:

  • Lead and oversee complex commercial office projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Develop strategic project plans, including risk assessments, stakeholder engagement, and resource allocation to optimise project outcomes.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and consultants, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, conducting regular site visits and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage procurement processes, and oversee financial planning to maximize project profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, sustainability guidelines, and health and safety standards throughout all project phases.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and value enhancement, leveraging market insights and industry best practices to drive project success.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in commercial office projects in the UK.
  • Strong background in construction, with a deep understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management and financial forecasting, ensuring cost-effective project execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Relevant degree in construction management, real estate, architecture, or a related field, with professional certifications.
  • RICS charterships is preferred but not mandatory.
