Legal Paralegal Opportunity in Edinburgh or Glasgow

This international law firm is looking for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their central paralegal team based in Edinburgh or Glasgow (with hybrid working). The role involves assisting associates and partners within the thriving Real Estate team, supporting clients on various real estate transactions, and working independently on transactions from inception to completion with appropriate supervision.

Specific responsibilities include:

1. Drafting and negotiating documents such as offers, leases, variations, dispositions, licences to occupy, and other ancillary lease documentation;
2. Handling sales and purchases, including plot sales and deeds of servitude;
3. Reviewing and reporting on titles and managing ad hoc title queries from solicitors and clients;
4. Managing completion and post-completion registrations, forms, filings, and client signing/reporting requirements;

Who should apply?

This opportunity is suitable for an enthusiastic and ideally experienced Real Estate-focused Paralegal. Candidates with experience in residential or rural property, or plot sales, will also be considered. Full training on systems and processes will be provided, along with an ongoing training program to develop legal knowledge and soft skills.
