Real Estate Litigation | Legal Director | Birmingham | up to £112,000 + 20% bonus

I’m currently working with a top 30 International law firm that is looking to appoint a Legal Director to join its award-winning real estate litigation team in Birmingham.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior real estate litigation lawyer to join a highly regarded national practice, working alongside the wider real estate team and taking a leading role on complex, high-value commercial property disputes.

The role offers excellent exposure to high-quality work, sophisticated clients and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of an established and successful team.

The Role

You’ll manage a complex and varied caseload of commercial property disputes, including:

• Opposed and unopposed lease renewals
• Restrictive covenants
• Break options
• Dilapidations
• Rights of way
• Boundary disputes
• Trespass and nuisance
• Possession proceedings
• Insolvency-related property disputes
• Advising clients on strategic and commercially focused dispute resolution

You will also:

• Work closely with clients to provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
• Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the real estate litigation practice
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support new business development and growth across existing and prospective clients
• Work closely with the transactional real estate team and wider national practice

The package

Salary: up to £112,000

Bonus: up to 20%
