Job summary

Oculus Legal Group is seeking an experienced Real Estate Litigation Solicitor / Associate to join its established Manchester team with hybrid working. You will handle complex commercial property disputes and build strong client relationships.

You will work on lease renewals, dilapidations, covenants, boundaries and rent arrears, with support from paralegals and operations teams. This role offers exposure to high-quality work for major household-name clients within a supportive national practice.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in commercial real estate litigation.
• Ability to manage own matters with strong technical and commercial understanding.
• Experience advising clients on complex property disputes is desirable.

A leading international legal and business services firm is looking to appoint an experienced Real Estate Litigation Solicitor / Associate to join its established and growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial property litigator who wants exposure to high-quality, varied work for major household-name clients, alongside the opportunity to develop their own client relationships and play an active role in the continued growth of the team.

The role

You’ll advise a broad range of clients on the legal and commercial aspects of complex commercial property disputes, with matters including:

• 1954 Act lease renewals, both opposed and unopposed
• Break options and contractual/statutory notices
• Dilapidations disputes and settlements
• Restrictive covenants
• Boundary and right of way disputes
• Trespass and nuisance
• Rent arrears and landlord remedies
• Forfeiture and CRAR
• Property-related insolvency issues
• Court proceedings and wider commercial property disputes

You’ll have access to dedicated real estate paralegal support and work closely with specialist legal operations and business services teams, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality legal advice and excellent client service.
