Job summary

LC Legal in Birmingham is seeking a Real Estate Solicitor specialising in finance work or a Real Estate Finance lawyer to join a growing team. You will advise lenders and borrowers on a broad range of real estate finance transactions and manage your own matter load with supportive collaboration from the wider Real Estate group.

You will build lasting client relationships, contribute to business development, and work with leading banks, developers and investors on high-quality deals in a national

Are you a Real Estate Solicitor looking to specialise in finance work, or an existing Real Estate Finance lawyer looking to join a highly regarded national practice?

We're working with a leading UK law firm that is looking to appoint a 2-5 PQE Associate into its growing Real Estate Finance team based in their Birmingham office. This is an excellent chance to join a collaborative team acting on a broad range of high-quality transactions for an impressive client base.

The Opportunity

You’ll advise both lenders and borrowers on a wide variety of real estate finance matters, supporting transactions involving acquisitions, development funding and refinancing.

The team acts for a diverse range of clients, including:

• High street and challenger banks
• Specialist and bridging lenders
• Property developers
• Corporate and individual borrowers

You’ll work alongside experienced specialists while taking responsibility for your own matters and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on a broad range of real estate finance transactions.
• Managing your own caseload with an appropriate level of autonomy.
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider Real Estate team.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

About You

We’re keen to speak with solicitors who have:

• 2-5 years' PQE.
• Experience in Real Estate Finance or exposure to finance transactions within a broader Commercial Property/Real Estate role.
• Strong technical and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
• The confidence to manage matters with minimal supervision.
• A commercial mindset and proactive approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
