A leading international firm is seeking a banking lawyer with strong experience in real estate finance to join its highly regarded finance practice based in London.
The role involves advising on a broad range of real estate finance transactions, acting for both lenders and borrowers on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters. The team is recognised as a market leader and regularly advises on high-profile deals across the real estate sector. Typical transactions include senior and mezzanine financings, development finance, investment loans, and refinancing arrangements. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and other teams across the firm, and will be expected to lead transactions, manage workstreams, and liaise directly with clients.
The ideal candidate will have between 5-8 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong academic background and solid technical expertise in drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements. Experience gained at a top-tier City or international firm is preferred.
Senior Associates in the team are expected to contribute to business development initiatives, mentor junior lawyers, and play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships.
