Real Estate Finance Associate | Leading London Firm

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious real estate finance lawyer to join a growing practice at a highly respected London-based firm.

The Role:

This full-service firm, headquartered in London, is recognised for its collaborative culture, interesting client base, and consistently strong work across real estate and finance. The real estate finance team sits within the wider commercial real estate group and offers broad exposure to both lender and borrower side transactions.

The team acts for a range of clients including bridging lenders, high street banks, alternative lenders, property investors, and developers. Matters include complex structured finance deals, refinancing arrangements, secured lending, and development finance.

As a Real Estate Finance Associate, your responsibilities will include:-

- Advising on secured lending transactions from initial instruction to post-completion
- Acting for both lenders and borrowers across a wide range of real estate finance matters
- Drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents and related contractual documentation
- Managing transactions with support and supervision as appropriate to your level
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including lender panels and referrers
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex matters while gradually taking on more responsibility

Candidate Requirements:

You'll be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with between NQ and 4 years' PQE in real estate finance, whether gained in private practice or in-house. While lender-side experience is desirable, exposure to borrower-side transactions is equally valuable.
