Job summary

TSR Legal is seeking a Real Estate Development Solicitor to join its Cardiff office. You will advise a broad range of clients on complex development projects and work within a top-tier Real Estate team.

The role focuses on commercial development schemes, site acquisitions and development agreements, with opportunities to handle joint ventures and strategic land matters across Wales and the UK. Strong property background essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' PQE in commercial property/development
• Strong experience in real estate development transactions
• Excellent technical and commercial skills
• Experience acting for developers, landowners, investors or housebuilders
• The ability to manage transactions independently while working effectively within a wider team
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a specialist development practice

Responsibilities

• Advise on complex, high-value real estate development projects for a range of clients.
• Lead site acquisitions and disposals, development agreements and options.

The Role

Your work will include:

• Commercial development schemes
• Site acquisitions and disposals
• Development agreements and conditional contracts
• Options and promotion agreements
• Strategic land and site assembly
• Joint ventures and development partnerships
• Real estate due diligence
• Overages and promotion arrangements
• Infrastructure and estate management matters
• Working closely with planning, construction, environmental and corporate specialists.
