Job title: Property Account Handler

Salary: Up to £45,000

Location: Greater Manchester - Hybrid

Purpose of Role

Lawes is currently recruiting for an experienced Real Estate Account Handler to join a dynamic and growing team servicing large commercial clients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and retain a portfolio of existing commercial clients
  • Support new-business opportunities in collaboration with executives
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations in all broking activities
  • Provide technical insurance advice across all Property and Real Estate business
  • Assist with the placement of premiums up to £800K
Day-to-Day
  • Handle renewals, mid-term-adjustments and new quotes
  • Prepare and present market submissions
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation
  • Build strong client relationships through professional service delivery
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Support the team in achieving KPIs and service-level standards
Experience
  • Proven experience as a Real Estate or Commercial Account Handler within the insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of relevant commercial insurance products
  • Experience working in a broker environment
Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Sound knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Proficient in relevant insurance software and Microsoft Office suite
