Job summary

Real Estate Associate position in Houston, Texas, is seeking a junior to mid-level attorney to handle a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, leasing, financing and disposals across office, retail, industrial and mixed-use assets.

You will work with an experienced team, receiving hands-on training, mentorship, and support to grow your practice, with remote eligibility after the first 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills across a range of matters.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Admitted to the Texas Bar and in good standing, or eligible for admission by waiver.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, commercial leases, development agreements, easements and restrictive covenants.
• Managing due diligence, including reviewing and resolving title and survey issues.
• Advising lenders and borrowers on real estate financing, including construction loans, permanent financing, mortgage and mezzanine debt.
• Advising on entity structuring and joint venture arrangements.

Real Estate Associate - Houston, Texas

An established Texas law firm is looking to recruit a junior to mid-level Real Estate Associate to join its Houston team.
