The successful candidate will handle a broad range of development-focused property work for private and public sector developers and funders, working both autonomously and within a team, and will build trusted client relationships across commercial and residential schemes.

Responsibilities

• Handle land acquisitions via options, conditional contracts and package deals for private developers and housing associations.
• Draft and negotiate conditional lease agreements for pre-lets.
• Manage all aspects of site assembly, including planning and adoption agreements, utility wayleaves and substation transfers.
• Assist with construction documentation where required.
• Advise borrowers on development funding requirements.
• Undertake full development due diligence when acting for funders.
• Handle onward disposals of completed units and investment sales.

A well established and growing Property team is seeking an experienced Property Solicitor (5 + years' PQE) with a strong background in development work. This role is ideal for a lawyer who can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a wider development team, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice to private and public sector developers and funders across commercial and residential schemes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical ability, excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to build and maintain trusted client relationships.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of development focused property work, including:

• Acting on land acquisitions via options, conditional contracts and package deals for private developers and housing associations
