Job summary

Apex Group in Jersey’s Real Assets team seeks an Assistant Manager to provide administrative support and relationship management for a client portfolio. You will liaise with a Manager to ensure high-quality service and timely delivery.

The role offers a hybrid working model with exposure to cross-jurisdiction work, mentoring opportunities for juniors, and active involvement in transaction management and due diligence within a busy finance environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Understanding of Jersey statutory laws and regulatory requirements (AML etc).
• Motivated and driven; able to work under pressure.
• Professional CGI qualification or studying toward CGI.
• Prior experience within the finance industry.
• Ability to mentor, develop and train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop client relationships; be the key contact.
• Engage with third parties, client advisors and intermediaries.
• Support the administration team and manage WIP/billing.
• Ensure SLAs and CSPs are followed; meet deadlines.
• Oversee junior team on transaction management (acquisitions/disposals).
• Support due diligence and client take-on procedures.
