Job summary

Holcim UK is hiring a Readymix HGV Driver to join our logistics team based at the Salford plant. You will run a concrete mixer truck, with occasional transfers to other depots in the region.

We expect professionalism to maximise fuel efficiency and minimize vehicle damage, while supporting a teamwork-driven depot culture. The role requires a valid HGV licence and Driver CPC, flexibility for weekend/night work, and a safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• Team player with the ability to work alone or in a group.
• Willingness to work weekends and night shifts as required.
• Customer-focused approach with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of AI policies and procedures is advantageous.
• HGV licence and Driver CPC are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a modern concrete mixer truck on a day-to-day basis.
• Occasionally transfer to other depots within the region as needed.
• Maintain fuel efficiency and minimise wear/damage to the vehicle.
• Uphold high standards and contribute to safe depot operations.
• Assist around the plant during quieter periods.
