Job summary

Holcim UK is hiring an HGV Class 2 Driver to join the logistics team at the Whetstone RMX plant in Leicester. You will operate a concrete mixer truck, primarily at Whetstone, with occasional trips to other regional plants, upholding the company’s delivery standards.

Flexibility is required for weekend and possibly night shifts. A current HGV licence and CPC card are desirable, and MPQC may be preferred. We offer a diverse, equal opportunity workplace with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Can work alone or part of a team.
• Flexible hours with weekend and potentially night work.
• Knowledge of AI Policies and procedures is an advantage.
• Knowledge of concrete is desirable but not essential.
• Customer Focused.
• Good Communication skills required.
• Previous HGV licence and CPC card is desirable.
• MPQC is preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck primarily at Whetstone RMX plant.
• Drive any company vehicle as assigned with a current licence.
• Uphold high standards of image, presentation and delivery service.
• Strive to improve fuel efficiencies and reduce costs.
