Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting for a School Catering Assistant on the outskirts of York. The role is term-time only, Monday to Friday, 9:30am–1:30pm, at a local primary school, with duties including food preparation, serving pupils, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

£12.85 per hour is paid for 15 hours per week. An enhanced DBS check will be required. Prior catering or food production experience is beneficial for joining a friendly, welcoming team.

school catering assistant to join the team at a local primary school on the

outskirts of York:

Working with other members of the catering team you will

• Work with the School Chef to prepare food

• Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy including pot wash duties

Monday to Friday at a primary school on the outskirts of York

This would be an ideal role if you have some experience in catering, hospitality, food production or cooking and you are looking for a term time only position.

Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS check will be required.

You will be working for a Yorkshire Academy Trust who operate primary schools across North and West Yorkshire. Their kitchens are friendly and welcoming places with supportive management teams.

£12.85 per hour
