Job summary

Military Medical Personnel is seeking a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MoD experience to cover a GP assignment at Leconfield Medical Centre, Leconfield, North Yorkshire. The role is locum, 18.5 hours per week, delivering care to MoD service personnel.

Rates are self-employed at £69.12 per hour. The package includes weekly payments, flexible long- and short-term assignments, free uniforms if needed, PVG/Access NI, free mandatory training and a dedicated consultant to support you

• Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctor’s scope of experience and qualification.
• To inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a serviceperson’s ability to undertake their duties.
• To complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
• To attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required.
