  • At least 12 months' experience working with children and young people.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare / Caring for Children and Young People.

  • The ability to lead, support and guide other members of the residential team.
  • Good written communication and record-keeping skills.
  • The flexibility to work long-day shifts, weekends and sleep-ins.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The existing right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available for this vacancy.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a 4-bed Ofsted-rated Good children's home in Yarnton, near Oxford.


This could be an excellent opportunity if you are already working as a Senior Support Worker, or if you are an experienced Children's Residential Support Worker ready to take on more responsibility.


You'll be joining a large, established and growing children's residential care provider with excellent training, strong management support and a genuine progression pathway into Deputy Manager and Registered Manager positions.


What you need

The home

You’ll be working within a 4-bed children's residential home providing therapeutic support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.


The focus is on creating a safe, consistent and nurturing home where young people can build trust, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes.


As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you'll have an important role both in directly supporting the young people and in helping the wider staff team deliver consistently high standards of care.
