Job summary

Indeed Flex is seeking a Hygiene Operative for a temp-to-perm role in a food manufacturing environment in Wrexham. The role involves cleaning to industry standards and following COSHH guidelines during night shifts from 6 pm to 6 am.

You will use heavy equipment and handling chemicals as needed, while recording cleaning activity and reporting issues to the supervisor. On-site facilities and staff perks accompany the role.

Salary: £14.92 per hour (inclusive of £1.61 holiday pay)

About the role

This temp-to-perm position is based in a food manufacturing environment and as a Hygiene Operative, you will play a key part in ensuring it is a safe, clean environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning in a food factory to a level of excellence against food industry standards.
• This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including the correct use of PPE, cleaning equipment, and chemicals in line with COSHH guidelines.
• Accurately complete cleaning records and report any maintenance issues, hazards, incidents, or incomplete tasks to the supervisor.
• Adhere to company and client policies, maintaining a professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to workplace safety at all times.
