Job summary

Pertemps North West and North Wales is helping a client in Wrexham recruit a reliable Cleaning Operative on a temporary basis. You will maintain a clean, safe workplace across communal areas, restrooms and training rooms, with duties including waste handling and replenishing supplies.

You'll work Thursdays and Fridays, 2 days per week, starting times flexible and finishing at 18:15 Thursday and 17:15 Friday, with a focus on high cleanliness standards and adherence to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safe working practices.
• Knowledge of COSHH, PPE, manual handling and slip/trip prevention.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, organised and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Positive attitude with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain communal areas, restrooms, welfare facilities and training rooms.
• Empty bins and support waste segregation and recycling.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including steam cleaners and floor buffers.
• Carry out routine and deep-cleaning activities.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.

The Opportunity
