Keyfort Group is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our Carlisle team, assisting a lady in her own home who uses a mobile hoist and an electric wheelchair.

You will provide personal care and general household tasks, help with daily activities, and build a trusting, respectful relationship with her and the household. The role offers part-time hours with a supportive clinical team and paid DBS, plus a range of benefits.

Contract: Part-Time

Shift Pattern: Alternative weekend working, one week 25 hours, one week 35 hours

Week A: 35 hours

Monday: 16.00-21.00

Thursday: 16.00-21.00

Saturday: 08.00-13.00 and 16.00-21.00

Sunday: 08.00-13.00 and 16.00-21.00

Week B: 25 hours

Monday: 08.00-13.00

Tuesday: 08.00-13.00 and 16.00-21.00

Friday: 08.00-13.00 and 16.00-21.00

About the Role

KEYFORT Group are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Carlisle, supporting a lady in her own fully adapted home.

The lady we support has MS and requires personal care, catheter care and general household duties. She uses a mobile hoist for all transfers and has an electric wheelchair which she controls independently.

She lives with her husband, three cats, goldfish and tortoise, so its important staff are comfortable around pets. She loves nothing more than spending an afternoon watching a movie or box set series, or completing crosswords and sudoku, gardening, baking or bird watching! Having a great relationship with her team is very important to her, this is achieved through providing great care, having good sense of humour and, someone who is confident in their care delivery ability.
