Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd in the Midlands invites applications for an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join a well-established logistics provider. You will operate modern tractors, mainly Volvo FHs, delivering timber, steel, precast concrete and other engineering products across the UK.

This is a full-time role with Monday–Friday expectations and potential weekend overtime. The ideal candidate brings a professional attitude and a proven safe driving record to support a growing transport

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence required.
• Clean driving licence with no more than [X] points (typical standard).
• Professional attitude and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 tractor units delivering timber, steel, precast concrete and other engineering products across the UK.
• Adhere to safety regulations, complete mileage logs and accompany the vehicle with required paperwork.
• Occasional overtime on weekends for those who wish to work extra hours.

Job Description:

Driving modern equipment (mainly Volvo FH’s) successful candidates will be delivering timber, steel, precast concrete, structural, fencing, engineering products, machinery and much more all over the UK.Positions are Full time Monday – Friday basis as a standard but there is often overtime weekend work available for those that wish to do so.
