Job summary

The Selection Partnership Ltd. in Wolverhampton is recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter Operator for 3-axis Hurco and Haas machining centres, producing precision components such as press tooling, jigs and fixtures.

You will work from CAD models and prepare programs for offline machining using VISI Machining. Experience with Hurco/Haas and VISI Machining is required or advantageous; Heidenhain experience is useful but not essential.

Qualifications

• CNC programming, setting and operating experience.
• Experience with 3-axis machining.
• Hurco and/or Haas experience.
• VISI Machining experience would be an advantage.

Working hours:

Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

Our client is a precision engineering company looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter Operator to join their team.

You'll be working across their 3-axis Hurco and Haas CNC machining centres, producing press tooling, jigs, fixtures and other precision components.

They are looking for someone with:

• CNC programming, setting and operating experience.
• Experience with 3-axis machining.
• Hurco and/or Haas experience.
• Experience with VISI Machining would be an advantage.
• Heidenhain experience would be useful, but not essential.
• A good eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

Their CNC programming is carried out offline using VISI Machining, giving you the opportunity to work from CAD models and produce programs ready for their machines.
