Job summary

School Friend Clubs is recruiting a Breakfast & After School Play Worker to provide caring, quality childcare in a school setting. Hours run mornings 7:30–9:00 and afternoons 3:00–6:00, Monday to Friday during term time.

The role includes record keeping, communicating with parents and schools, and contributing to a safe, engaging play environment. Benefits include free childcare for one child, training, a uniform, an EAP and pension where eligible.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering age-appropriate play and activities.
• Strong communication with parents, colleagues and schools.
• Willing to work term-time only, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver breakfast and after-school care in a safe, engaging environment.
• Maintain records and ensure clear information flow with parents and schools.
• Support a welcoming, well-organised play space for children.

Job Title: Breakfast & After School Play Worker

If you are caring, and have a zest for fun don’t scroll past,

Salary: £12.71 per hour (£14.58 per hour including accrued holiday pay)

Contracted hours: 22.50 hrs. Per week during Term Time only

Club hours: 7:30 to 9:00am for Breakfast Club & 3:00 to 6:00pm for After School Club

Monday-Friday. The hours may vary slightly depending on the school.

Must be committed to working Monday to Friday.

School Friend Clubs are looking for staff that are passionate about childcare, and are able to deliver quality child care and appropriate age-related play in a safe and interesting environment.

To enable good communications, record keeping and information flow between parents, colleagues, schools and users of our service.
