Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Pressure Compliance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to lead pressure systems compliance and structural integrity across a defined HPC programme. You will interface with Project Managers, regulators, and supply chain partners, ensuring RCC-M or ASME code compliance, and supporting delivery within a multidisciplinary, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or science discipline.
• Chartered engineer status would be a plus.
• Experience in large-scale, highly regulated industries (nuclear or energy).
• Familiar with pressure equipment compliance and relevant codes.

Job description

Pressure Compliance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

The Pressure Compliance Mechanical Engineer will report to the Pressure System Completions and Integration Manager and will take responsibility for managing the pressure systems compliance and structural integrity requirements on behalf of a specific scope identified by the Pressure System Completions and Integration Manager and Pressure Compliance Lead, ensuring appropriate implementation and compliance to meet HPC project needs.

The role holder will support the implementation of pressure systems compliance and structural integrity requirements within specific projects, on behalf of a specific programme. They will support the project managers in ensuring compliance and delivery for HPC.

The role will require good technical and organisational capabilities to effectively interface with Project Managers and relevant stakeholders in the programme, the ONR, third party organisations and support the supply chain in delivery.

The role may require trips abroad (mostly mainland Europe).

Knowledge

• Managing structural integrity and pressure regulation compliance requirements in the nuclear industry.
• Mechanical engineering design and operation of pressure equipment specifically built to RCC-M or ASME codes.
• Working in a multidisciplinary and matrix environment.
• Working with regulators and supply chain companies to coach through the pressure compliance process.
• Knowledge of the nuclear industry and EDF group would be a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to plant in the UK would be a plus.
