Job summary

APP Wholesale, part of Lords Group Trading, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our UK team. You will receive, process, pack and ship stock, maintain stock locations and assist with inventory checks. You’ll work closely with branches to ensure timely deliveries and uphold quality and safety standards.

We value accuracy, teamwork and reliability and encourage flexible working, including weekends when required. A background in warehousing and basic IT skills will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; flexible to weekends/evenings.
• Basic computer skills, including experience using warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurate processing and locating of goods in and out.
• Picking and packing items for dispatch.
• Loading of vehicles for onward delivery to our customers.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pump trucks safely.
• Take responsibility for designated area and stock labelling.
• Demonstrate high standards of housekeeping.
• Maximise stock availability by coordinating with stock control and ordering as required.
• Complete compliance and training modules on time.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and timekeeping.
• Follow correct manual handling guidelines daily.

Role Description

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organising, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Join our team and be a valuable asset in the seamless operation of our warehouse, where attention to detail and teamwork are highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Maximise stock availability by working closely with branch stock control and ordering directly where required.
• Prompt completion of compliance and training modules
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and timekeeping.
• Follow correct manual handling guidelines in day-to-day activities
