Job summary

APP Wholesale, part of Lords Group Trading, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Erith. You will handle stock, pick and pack orders, and support handover to delivery teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pump trucks, keep tidy stock areas, and maintain safety standards. A driver’s licence is desirable and you may be required to assist deliveries from time to time.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate processing and locating of goods in and out
  • Picking and packing items for dispatch
  • Loading of vehicles for onward delivery to customers
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklift and pump trucks safely and efficiently
  • Take responsibility for designated area ensuring stock is correctly stored and labelled
  • Demonstrate high standards of housekeeping
  • Maximise stock availability by coordinating with branch stock control and ordering as needed
  • Complete compliance and training modules promptly
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and timekeeping
  • Follow correct manual handling guidelines daily

Role Description

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and

materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organising, and retrieving stock in

the warehouse. Join our team and be a valuable asset in the seamless operation of our warehouse, where attention to detail and

teamwork are highly valued.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Maximise stock availability by working closely with branch stock control and ordering directly where required.
  • Prompt completion of compliance and training modules
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and timekeeping.
  • Follow correct manual handling guidelines in day-to-day activities

  • Collaborate effective with the wider branch team to support smooth daily operations.
  • Be flexible and willing to support other areas of Lords Group Trading when required, including temporary assignments in different departments or branches.
  • Carry out any additional duties that are reasonable and within the scope of the role, contributing to the overall success of the team.

A driver's license is desirable for this role, as you may need to make deliveries depending on business needs.
