Medecho LTD is recruiting a Locum Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry in Bristol to cover inpatient, community and crisis services within an NHS Trust. The role requires substantial UK mental health service experience and GMC registration.

Qualifications

• GMC Registration with Licence to Practise is required.
• Section 12 Approval is essential.
• Previous NHS Psychiatry experience is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working abilities.
• Available to start ASAP and hold valid Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate management plans.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
• Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Undertake Mental Health Act assessments where appropriate.
• Provide advice and support to junior medical staff and allied professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with NHS standards.
• Ensure safe and effective patient care at all times.

Job Overview

An NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry to join a dynamic mental health team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient, community, and crisis services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated doctor who is available to start immediately and has substantial experience working within UK mental health services.

Essential Requirements
