  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work as part of a team, sharing information and providing support to colleagues, including volunteers.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records as per company policy and procedures utilizing appropriate paper and electronic systems.
  • Relationship Building: Build rapport with service users based on respect and honesty, offering support and trustworthy environment for their recovery journey.

About The Role

Only those with courage will thrive. As a Recovery Worker, you'll be on the frontline helping people in their most challenging moments. You'll navigate tough conversations, make quick decisions, and stay calm when others can't. No two shifts are the same, and every shift makes a real difference.

You'll carry out assessments, create safety plans, and guide people through challenging times. Sometimes that means listening. Sometimes it means taking decisive action. Always, it means showing resilience and strength when it matters most.

This role is

22 hours per week, worked across 3 days on a rota basis.

  • Monday - Friday: 17:00 - 22:00
  • Saturday - Sunday: 12:00 - 21:30

Working days will vary on a rota basis, although the hours of work will remain the same.

Please note that all roles require a satisfactory DBS check.

Key Tasks
Client Support and Coordination:
  • Ensure all aspects of working clients are fulfilled within agreed timescales and quality standards.
  • Liaising with other external agencies, complementary therapies, and community groups on behalf of people who use their services.
Safeguarding:
  • Contribute to protecting individuals from the risk of abuse and harm, both to themselves and others using services.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
  • Work as part of a team, sharing information and providing support to colleagues, including volunteers.
  • Engage in regular team meeting and discussions to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Record Keeping and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records as per company policy and procedures utilising appropriate paper and electron systems.
  • Keep up to date details of services activities and outcomes in charity logs, always ensuring transparency and accountability.
Relationship Building:
  • Build rapport with service users based on respect and honesty, offering support and trustworthy environment for their recovery journey.
