Job summary

Halmer Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Garden Maintenance Team Leader to manage a team responsible for maintaining prestigious private gardens across London and the Home Counties. The role requires mobility across sites, with travel within and around London, and attendance at interviews at Leighton Buzzard before starting training.

The position offers a salary of £35,000-£41,000 per annum, plus a company van for work use, and a clear progression path into Aftercare Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a garden maintenance team across prestigious sites.

• Carry out lawn care, hedge cutting, pruning, planting, weeding and seasonal maintenance.
• Diagnose plant health issues, pests and diseases and apply treatments.
• Maintain and monitor irrigation systems.
• Build strong relationships with clients and deliver excellent customer service.
• Organise daily workloads and travel between sites across London.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join an established and award-winning landscaping company maintaining some of the most prestigious private gardens across London and the Home Counties.

This is a mobile role covering sites throughout North, South, East and West London. Applicants must be based within the M25 and comfortable travelling across London as part of their working day.

The successful candidate must also be able to attend an interview at the company's office in Leighton Buzzard and travel to the office for initial training when they start.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £35,000-£41,000 per annum, depending on experience, together with a company van for work use.

This role is equivalent to a traditional Garden Maintenance Foreman position and is ideal for someone with previous experience leading a horticultural maintenance team who is looking to progress their career.
