Job summary

Halmer Group, an established landscaping company, is seeking an experienced Mobile Garden Maintenance Team Leader to oversee a horticultural maintenance team across prestigious sites in London and the Home Counties.

The role is mobile, covering North, South, East and West London; applicants must be based within the M25 and able to travel between sites and attend an interview at our Leighton Buzzard office for initial training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a garden maintenance team across prestigious sites.

• Carry out lawn care, hedge cutting, pruning, planting, weeding and seasonal maintenance.
• Diagnose plant health issues and apply appropriate treatments.
• Maintain and monitor irrigation systems.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Organise daily workloads and ensure efficient completion.
• Travel between sites across London.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and procedures.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Garden Maintenance Team Leader to join an established and award-winning landscaping company maintaining some of the most prestigious private gardens across London and the Home Counties.

This is a mobile role covering sites throughout North, South, East and West London. Applicants must be based within the M25 and comfortable travelling across London as part of their working day.

The successful candidate must also be able to attend an interview at the company's office in Leighton Buzzard and travel to the office for initial training when they start.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £35,000-£41,000 per annum, depending on experience, together with a company van for work use.

This role is equivalent to a traditional Garden Maintenance Foreman position and is ideal for someone with previous experience leading a horticultural maintenance team who is looking to progress their career.

Working across an impressive portfolio of private gardens, contemporary roof terraces, country estates and high-profile landscape projects, you will lead a small maintenance team while ensuring exceptional horticultural standards and outstanding customer service.
